Sam Joseph is a 1995 graduate of Western Michigan University. After traveling around the country with his wife, Angela, Mr. Joseph was hired at Manistee Catholic Central. Manistee High School hired him in the fall of 2000. Mr. Joseph serves as Student Council advisor and is the department chair of the English department. While he has coached both track and soccer in the past, he currently serves as assistant coach to the soccer program. He enjoys playing music with his friends (he and a few other teachers form a band in the summer). Blues harmonica and African drumming are often incorporated into his poetry lessons, making it educational, fun, and culturally enriching. Mr. Joseph has also taught English composition at Western Michigan University and West Shore Community College.
