Wendy Orton is a graduate of Central Michigan University where she recieved B.S. degrees in Special Education, Home Economics and Park and Recreation Administration. She returned to CMU on Mott Foundation Scholorship and recieved her Masters Degree in Education Administration with emphasis in Community School Leadership. Wendy began teaching at Manistee High School in 1999. She currently teachers courses in Home Economics and Special Education. Previously, Wendy has taught adult education in the Oakridge, Eaton Rapids and Kalkaska school districts and special eduation in the Alba and Coloma School systems. She is a high school graduate of Mason County Central High School.
