Michelle Pieper started teaching in Manistee in 1994. After leaving her hometown of Dearborn, Michigan in 1974, she spent 12 years in restaurant management. She then returned to Western Michigan University, graduating in 1990. She has taught in the Resource Room since coming to Manistee High School. Since her first year on staff, she has been a part of the Building Leadership Team, the Building Improvement Committee, and has coached the Junior Varsity Softball Team.
